Can a little senior help be beneficial?

Now that the Holidays have arrived we see that our parents might need a helping phone call to remind them to take care of some personal matters perhaps some occasional housekeeping, medication reminders, exercise reminders, dietary supplements or just drinking enough water.

To care for an aging relative from a distance while living one�s own life can be extremely difficult for both parties. There is definitely a need to speak about what they would like to have done (if the needed any type of assistance). It can be really hard to communicate with them if they and you are in denial of aging and the lowering of abilities that are needed for everyday independent living. There are sources of assistance found on the net in all states there are Agencies on Aging that can assist in some basics and sometimes advanced areas of help.
