Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney (POA) is used in a number of circumstances. When someone is ill, away, or a trusted friend, who can act in behalf of another. The time for a financial POA often happens when a senior is no longer able to keep track of their checkbook.

This is a very serious time to consider. Usually under cases of a serious disability a POA would be used. In the case of an individual who is seriously ill or under anesthesia and unable to communicate their desires then a Health Care POA, could come into effect.
