Elder care

In house or in home help with elder care can be very stressssfullll. Especially if one is also working another place to provide finances. There was a time we went for a long time without just to care for another family member whose able child was in another state. Imagine a Christmas gift of a long distance phone call that was very much appreciated! Such long days always ending late at night and begining early in the AM. The thoughts of when will this end are underminded by the betterment of the other person's existence.

The reversal of roles is amazing caregiver now caretaker. True usually they are family and the memories of some times come to mind but the present time and circumstances usually overflow the memories.
